Photoshop Basics
By the end of the semester students should know the rudimentary basics of how to create Adobe Photoshop documents like the ones below.
They should also be able to know their way around Abobe Illustrator and InDesign creating mesh objects in Illustrator and small booklets in InDesign.
Final Project
This project will use all that you have learned this semester and put it in one document: Follow the instructions in the PDF.It should have all the info you need, but if you have questions. be sure to ask in class. We will be using the applications Photoshop and Illustrator, if you decide you want to use or integrate a motion component, let me know and you may earn extra credit.
Below is a lo res tutorial (and highlighted here is a high res link to the another version of a similar version as a mov file). To see a bigger picture use the command "+" on your keyboard in MAC and control "+" in PC to enlarge it. For those of you who do NOT have quicktime installed on your computer, here is yet another FLV file in a larger size format. That particular file is designed for those of you who have access to larger bandwidths. Once again, you can increase the size of the image on your screen by using the command +, or control + key on your keyboards. (MAC /PC)
Once you are finished burn the PDF and the Package documents on a disk and turn it in at the beginning of class next week. Give me a break and be sure to include your name in the document?!? thanks……
Project 4
Attached here is the AI file with the pepper embedded in it as a template. The bell pepper project's purpose is to assist you in familiarizing yourself with the mesh tools in Illustrator. If that does not work for you. I have a jpeg of the bell pepper here that you can use to place as a template in Illustrator as I explained in class.
