There may be a time in your art career that you may be required to wrtie a proposal. I have outlined a brief proposal writing technique for you plus an exercise with an rfp from an City asking for quotes from artists to use for practice and to turn in Wednesday after next.

Purpose

As part of the graduation requirement, all students must pass Capstone. The purpose of the course is specifically outlined in the course syllabus but generally stated is to prepare the student to become an art professional or to continue their academic career in a topflight MFA program. Students receive instruction and prep for exhibition, create a professional portfolio, define strategy and professional practices in the Business of art. Research for jobs related to the Art Degree and concentration of the individual student is emphasized.
